The Very Last Sanet Seminar in San Diego

As the final hour, of the final day, of the final weekend, of the final live Sanet Seminar came to a close this past Sunday, I have to admit feeling a bit sad. This month marks the 25th anniversary of the day I started in Vision Therapy, and for most of that time, both Bob and Linda Sanet have been a large part of my journey. This was my sixth time attending the Sanet Seminar since 2001, and as always, I walked away in awe of the power generated in that room.

As I shared with the group on Saturday, part of my new role with Emergent will be to review the recorded Sanet Seminar Series, offering highlights from time to time. Our upcoming Mastering VT Series, which I am hosting, will highlight recorded video segments of Dr. Sanet during some of his most powerful teaching moments. As I go through this process of choosing segments to include, I continue to be amazed at how well the power and atmosphere generated in that room has transformed to film. Watching the videos truly feels the same to me as being in that room!

Our special guest for the November 18th course, will be none other than Dr. Leonard Press. Having attended Dr. Sanet’s course himself, and then having viewed the videos, Dr. Press wrote a summary of each day’s lesson in what became a more than 500 page document which, by itself, is an amazing piece of work!

As a scheduling reminder, our Mastering VT Educational Online Workshops

(created by Vision Therapists FOR Vision Therapists) will run monthly and can be viewed after the fact on video.

Along with my November 18 course, we look forward to December's workshop - the “Mind’s Eye Mastery: Advanced Visualization Tools for Vision Therapists”, which will be hosted by Erin Jubas, COVT!

We are currently in the process of constructing our 2025 schedule so be sure to check back often! As a reminder, a portion of each event will be a presentation on a concept or vision

therapy activity and then it will be opened up for questions and discussion.

Hope to see you all soon!

Robert
