This is a monthly online 1 hour workshop that will be hosted by a vision therapist. A portion will be a presentation on a concept or vision therapy activity and then it will be opened up for questions and discussion.
Workshops count towards COVT maintenance of certification requirements for continuing education. Attendees of live broadcast will receive a digital certificate for proof of attendance.
Proof of education will also be provided to those viewing the recorded sessions after successfully completing a test to receive the certificate.

2 sides of the same coin: Convergence Insufficiency and Convergence Excess in Vision Therapy
Robert Nurisio, COVT
Robert was introduced to Vision Therapy as a Sports Vision patient in 1999, while pursuing a career in golf. Intrigued, Robert became a Vision Therapist later that year. Throughout his more than 25 years in the Vision Therapy room, Robert has worked in various cities in the United States, including San Diego and Chattanooga, and has had the privilege to work for, and learn from, some greatest minds in the business. He became a COVT in 2008 and was named the Certified Optometric Vision Therapist of the Year in 2013. Robert spent a brief time working with P.A.V.E (Parents Active for Vision Education) and has written and presented many topics to colleagues on an International stage, including Primitive Reflexes, Treatment Strategies, and Improving Patient Communication. Robert is the owner and primary author of the VTWorks blog (www.vtworks.org), currently serves as a content editor for OVDRA’s digital journal (VDR), and as the Digital Content Advisor for Emergent VT. Robert is the Director of Vision Therapy at the Optometric Center for Family Vision Care and Vision Therapy in San Carlos, CA.
