And on to the Next Workshop!

Congratulations to James Smith, COVT for his wonderful presentation on the Brock String last week. Guiding the maiden voyage of a new program is never easy, but as with everything he does, James let with intelligence and humility, mixed in with a dash of humor. It was an excellent beginning to a program we expect to expand and thrive over the next several months.

Moving forward, on Monday, November 18, our second presentation is scheduled and I am excited to be hosting our “Celebrating Sanet – Past, Present, and Future” to our audience.  As some of you may know, Dr. Sanet has announced that 2024 will be the final live presentation of his seminar, and while bittersweet, we are extremely grateful to Dr. Sanet for his immense contribution to the profession over the years.

Luckily, in 2017, Dr. Sanet’s Seminar Series was professionally recorded (filmed and edited by Joe Lia, executive producer of Survivor) and is now offered as a package with Emergent. You can find more information HERE.

For the Celebrating Sanet Seminar in November, we will be pulling clips from some of Dr. Sanet’s most powerful lessons and discussing them in detail. My hope is to evolve the conversation into approaches and activities for everyone to use! Our special guest, Dr. Leonard Press, will be attending to offer his valuable insights to the conversation. We are very excited to have him.

As a scheduling reminder, our Mastering VT Educational Online Workshops

(created by Vision Therapists FOR Vision Therapists) will run monthly and can be viewed after the fact on video.

Along with my November 18 course, we look forward to December for the “Mind’s Eye Mastery: Advanced Visualization Tools for Vision Therapists”, which will be hosted by Erin Jubas, COVT.

As a reminder, a portion of each event will be a presentation on a concept or vision

therapy activity and then it will be opened up for questions and discussion.

Hope to see you all soon!

Robert
